Closed petition Carers Allowance for all Pensioners who are Carers

Just because a person has worked, contributed to and is getting a state pension should not prevent them from getting Carers Allowanced. This is very unfair. People on other benefits (some who have never worked) are entited to Carers Allowance so why not all pensioners?
