Closed Stop convicted criminals being able to change name by Deed poll.

This is very important. Just recently a child killer who served only 3 yrs changed his name by deed poll to hide his criminal past. No background checks are made when applying to change name by deed poll, why?

Background checks on passports, entering Government buildings and new jobs, but we have no background checks on people wanting to change name legally, it can be done within and hour online.
