All foreign trucks and cars should pay an annual road access tax similar to that charged on entry to Switzerland.
€50 for a private car.
Then pro rata for trucks according to size.

This would more than offset the proposed tax increase on petrol AND

WE HAVE TO PAY TOLLS AND TAXES IN EVERY EUROPEAN COUNTRY
