Closed petition Make it mandatory for all red processed meat to carry government health warning

Back in 2015 the World Health Organisation classified red processed meat as carcinogenic. A group 1 carcinogen known cause cancer. The same category as tabaccco, arsenic and plutonium.
To date the Government has not acted responsibly and failed to make this information widely known to the public.

We ask for an extensive campaign to infrom the public of the health risks carried by red processed meat products. We expect the government to act responsibly by making it mandatory to include a health warning on the packing of all processed meat products and to ensure the health of our children by removing all processed meat products from the menu within schools and hospitals.
