Petition Require a child train fare to be ages 5-16 whilst in full time education

Rail companies define child fares as from age 5-15. But a 16 year old can still be at school (Year 11) and has to pay an adult fare.

Companies cite the young person railcard however this cannot be used for morning fares, season tickets or fares under a certain cost. Student discounts aren't available until Year 12.
