Petition Not To Be penalised when claiming JSA if you have a private pension

I have worked 41 years and get a small monthly pension but that is taken off me so i dont exceed £67 per week jsa. Why should people like me be penalised. Someone who has never worked would get the same amount of benefits as me ? It is unfair and will put people off paying into a private pension.
