Closed petition Stop unregulated animal “rescues” bringing animals into the UK
Closed on
Many “rescues” bringing dogs into the UK are un-regulated businesses disguised as “rescues”. Only registered animal charities should be allowed to bring dogs into the UK. It should be an offence for unregistered “rescues” to bring dogs into the UK for sale or adoption.
They can cause dire cruelty to dogs. No regulation means cash in hand. No help is given when dogs are homed. Dogs are un-assessed, homes are un-checked & NO rescue back up is given to help. These people are just dog SELLERS. ‘Donations’ & ‘adoption fees’ for dogs go straight into their pockets. The fundraising is also a scam!
