Rejected petition Allow UK Citizens anywhere in EU to be treated EQUALLY in respect of Referendums
For certain reasons Parliament allow Electoral Register amendments for one-off votes to include groups not normally allowed to vote (06/16 Members of House of Lords & People of Gibraltar) if the result affect aspect of their lives YET for same reasons REFUSED to include a group on mainland Europe
More details
A minority group of UK Citizens living on mainland Europe were penalised simply for exercising their right to freedom of movement. We ask that ALL minority groups of UK citizens living in the EU be treated & considered as EQUALS to other groups in any future, temporary amendments to the Electoral Register for future UK Referendums where the results could /would affect their lives! UK Citizens living on mainland Europe are as much the responsibility of the UK government as if living in the UK
