Young minds should be taught the importance of protecting the planet so it is there for future generations.In the countryside the evidence of humans encroaching on the environment is very clear. Schools have the ability to change the minds of the future and should use this ability for our benefit.

School’s with an average of 650 pupils plus staff produces a lot of waste annually. That waste should be disposed of correctly and safely.Up to 60% of the rubbish that ends up in the bin could be recycled and isn’t. Also, there is 260 million tons of plastic produced each year (globally), about 10 percent ends up in our oceans. This plastic can take between 450-1000 years to decompose.
