Petition Right to buy for ALL social housing tenants, a fair chance at security for all!

Myself (tenant for 17 years) and my mother (tenant for 25 years) would like to buy our homes but neither of us qualify despite all our neighbours qualifying because they were tenants before the properties transferred to Housing association and our properties miss right to acquire rules by 1 year

It’s discrimination to say 1 has a right and 1 doesn’t.
We are in the same properties on the same street owned by the same Housing association but those that want to buy can’t and those that can don’t want to!
Give us a right to buy the homes we have lived in, raised our children in and made our own. Give our children security for their futures.
When we applied for social housing it’s because we had no alternative, now let us buy our HOMES and use the money for much needed additional housing!
