Petition Give equal child related financial support to all families,not just "low income"

"Low income"families receive an abundance of financial help when they have a child.Tax credits/Maternity grants/benefits/free nursey places etc.With such low maternity pay slashing working household income I believe that all families with young children should receive the same financial help.

Maternity grants
Child tax credits
Healthy start scheme
Housing benefit
Free nursery from a younger age than those who are not low income.
Council tax reduction
Etc etc

If you fall above the threshold and receive no help, you can end up worse off than those "low income families" and working harder for it too.

All babies/children deserve the same start/support from our government. We pay into the system, so support us when we need it.
