Governors at our school were shocked when shown the amount of plastic not only used, but also thrown away during the administration of the KS2 SATs process.

The amount of plastic used to keep the papers secure is largely unnecessary, added to which the number of bags within bags needed for the returns process is excessive, and contrary to the current public drive to reduce such waste.
