The technology now exists for people to vote easily on any popular issue but the government is currently able to ignore those wishes.

More details

1) Make the government e-petitions website more widely publicised on a regular basis, on TV for instance
2) Make it mandatory for the government to hold a referendum where any petition requesting a referendum exceeds 100,000 signatures
3) Make all referendums available online
4) Make the results of the referendums mandatory. The government MUST act on them.
