Petition Stop smoking on the street

There is a common belief that smoking has been "banned in public spaces".

It has not.

The petition calls for a total ban on smoking in ALL public places - outside doorways, while walking on the street, while standing on street corners - everywhere that can be considered as, or legally defined as, a public place.

Are you fed up with breathing in plumes of smoke while walking down the street because the person in front is smoking while they walk?

Have you had a coat damaged because somebody pushed past you with a lit cigarette in their hand?

Does fighting through a cloud of stinking cigarette smoke to get into, or out of, a building make you (feel) sick?
