Issuing a 5-year work visa to non EU nurses & doctors will help staff retention. After 5 years, they can apply for a resident permit & settle in UK. This will encourage nurses & doctors to continue working for their first NHS Trust visa sponsor instead of moving to another Trust or worst leave UK.
