Replace the current system of CRB check, which requires a fresh paper copy for every situation, with a single electronic type of record for all who apply to work with children or vulnerable adults.
Police authorities would be required to update the record immediately, if a person is convicted of a relevant crime.
If we make this improvement to the system then schools, churches etc could pay a much lower fee when they request a check and should be able to receive an almost instant copy of the electronic record.
This will save untold hassle, time and money wasting!
