Closed Stop MTC Multiplication Tables Check as a statutory test for year 4 students

The department of education are making testing compulsory from academic year 2018/2019 for year 4 students in the UK. These are timed tests that test all times tables up to 12x12 and are already causing unnecessary anxiety to 7 and 8 year olds in preparation for these tests.
