Petition Smokers to pay to smoke on NHS grounds

People choosing to smoke on NHS properties such as hospitals, be they visitors or patients, should be charged a pound to smoke in the designated areas within the hospital. Hospitals should be seen as strict 'health aware' grounds, but if people are to smoke on site, a charge should be levied which would be used to fund cancer research. Anyone caught smoking outside of these areas should be charged a £50 spot fine.
