The rail link from Poulton Le Fylde to Fleetwood via Thornton closed to to passengers in 1970 and to freight in 1999. The effect on our transport infrastructure and on jobs has been devastating.

1. To better connect Thornton Cleveleys to Poulton and Fleetwood (via rail and / or tram)
2. To battle the traffic congestion on our roads
3. To bring greater employment opportunities and economic prosperity to the area
