The Gang Matrix launched by Trident Gang Command is a system that has been found to disproportionately target BAME young men in their relation, or lack thereof, to gang crime. Information is often shared with other authorities limiting their access to opportunities and their chances of success.

The Metropolitan Police Service Gangs Violence Matrix and other similar Matrices should be dismantled, unless police services can demonstrate that they have been brought in line with international human rights law, in particular, the right to non-discrimination, privacy and family life, as contained in international human rights law.
