Rejected petition Reduce street lighting to many can be positioned on streets, help reduce carbon

We are being constantly bombarded with request to reduce our use of electricity within the home to help with carbon emissions.
However when you walk around your local estates (including motorways), you can clearly see were savings can be made by reducing the amount of street lights in use.
