Petition M1 motorway must go beyond Berwick upon Tweed

As we now have the M6 motorway on the west coast, going all the way up to the Anglo-Scottish border (i.e. Gretna Green) and then connecting the M74 motorway on the other side of the border, we could now do with having a motorway that goes over the border on the east coast too.

That's why I urge the government to extend the M1 up to Scotland on the east coast as well. It would mean people travelling from London to Edinburgh or vice-versa would be able to travel not only quicker, but would also reduce traffic on our roads.
