The burden of the EU In / Out referendum result falls disproportionately on the youngest in our society. And in the two and half years since the referendum they've not been given an opportunity to express their views.

Obtaining the views of the current 18-21 year-old demographic will offer insight and provide vital guidance to Parliament as it seeks to find a way forward.
It could also be held quickly because the question needs to be identical to the original referendum question, thereby simplifying the process. The focus should be to encourage the young to take part in the democratic process and ensure that their voices are heard.
