Closed petition Making Boxing Day a compulsary day off

There is a growing tendancy for stores to open on boxing day. As many of the reatil workers are female this disrupts the Christmas holidays for many families, especially where children are involved. The goverment should bring in legislation to prevent stores from opening on Boxing Day, similar to what is in place for Easter Sunday.
