Closed petition Urge Bank of England to remove tallow (cow flesh) from new £20 and £50 notes

Closed on

The new, polymer £20 and £50 note denominations are set to continue using tallow (cow flesh) as a component. This is UNACCEPTABLE to the current 3.5 million vegans, 7 million vegetarians, 817,000 Hindus and many others in the UK who all oppose the slaughter of cows.

This is over 17% of the UK population!
