Rejected petition Review RSPCA Governance Failure to Abide by Provisions of the Animal Welfare Act

The RSPCA is failing to uphold its charter as a registered charity to work for the improved welfare of animals, to protect them from cruelty, neglect and abuse. The RSPCA receives tens of millions of pounds from the British public, however, is failing to respond to the most in need.

More details

Is the RSPCA in it's current form fit for purpose.Would we benefit from the charity being placed under review. The purpose of the review is to put in place processes including scanning for stolen pets, always being accompanied by a veterinary surgeon in responding to calls and adhering strictly to provisions set out in the Animal Welfare Act. When working with the police, the RSPCA should be compelled to note any evidence of cruelty and act accordingly to remove endangered animals
