Rejected petition Re enstate the treason law so anyone can be tried including all officials

Tony Blair amended the treason laws so no government officials can face criminal charges for treasonous acts. This has led to a free run for officials to commit treason against England and the citizens. This now needs to be reversed to bring trust back to the people. Untouchable peers is dangerous.

More details

Over the last 2 and a half years the people have watched as treasonous acts have been executed against the country. By re enstating the act it will clean up some of parliament. By failing to re enstate the act , it will show completely how corrupt this government is.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to ask the UK Government or Parliament for a specific action.

There is no law that prevents government officials or others from being prosecuted for treason, so we're not sure what further action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
