The fee for applying to the EU Settlement Scheme is 32.50 or 65 GBP. The fee is unfair because the scheme it funds is deemed necessary by the UK Government as a consequence of its decision to exit the EU on 29 March 2019. It affects EU citizens whose rights have changed beyond their control.
