Rejected petition NO CAR DAY!

As you know the climate is changing dramaticly and most of it is caused because of cars and c02 so im proposing that there should be a no car day once a month where everyone in the country will not use a car and that would really make a difference and mayby save this earth a little longer.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Is the intention that the Government should legislate to prevent car use (with, presumably, permitted exceptions) on one particular day each month? If so, the petition should be resubitted making this clear. Or is this a call for voluntary restraint? In which case, e-petitions are not a suitable mechanism for calling for this.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
