Petition Signage NO CYCLING ON PAVEMENT & ENFORCEMENT
More details
Cycling on the pavement is not permitted by law yet Police and Councils pay little attention to individual complaints.
Councils must ensure clear and simple signage is in place where cyclists are not permitted, signs stating END OF CYCLE PATH, NO CYCLING ON PAVEMENT or CYCLISTS USE ROAD.
Police officers must stop and spot fine offenders and explain the offence and educate the public.
The signs should be in English and generic Eastern European.
Bring respect back to British streets.
