Rejected petition Members of Parliament should have job descriptions and terms of reference.

Terms of reference for MPs could be developed through public consultation

More details

Members of Parliament should have 'terms of reference' included in their party's manifesto. The terms of reference must include the need to represent their constituents following election. In the event of a national referendum, their allegiance to the referendum result would take precedence.
Party manifestos should be auditable and measured.
