There are more animal cruelty cases hitting the news than ever. Suffering is suffering whether it's an animal or human and causing unnecessary suffering to any living creature shows an utter disregard and disrespect for life. The Crown Prosecution Service needs to hand out more custodial sentences as the crimes we hear about today towards animals are beyond horrific.
