Closed End state funding of schools with religious selection policies

Religion is one of the few remaining areas where schools are able to run discriminatory selection policies, favouring pupils identified as belonging to a particular faith over others of different faiths or no faiths.

We call on the government to withdraw all state funding from schools which discriminate in this way, and believe that all schools which receive state funding should be accessible to all from the local community without favouritism towards any group.
