Rejected petition Lower the age for cervical smear test to 16 or 18

Hello, my name is Joanne and I want to start this petition as 5 years ago I went for my smear and had cell changes. I had treatment and these were removed.
When I was talking about this it amazed me that some people wanted to go but they were too young.

There are ladies dying or contracting cancer because they are not aloud to have a smear. ‘They are too young’
Cancer does not discriminate because of age so why should the NHS.
