America and Russia have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world a hundred times over - that makes Britain's nuclear response of 32 missiles meaningless.

If Britain is attacked by a terror group releasing a manually delivered nuclear device in a major British city our nuclear deterant would've been proved pointless, further we would have no target to retaliate against as terrorists have no fixed base.

Scrap Trident and spend the money on more realistic equipment for the forces.
