Make the directors (i.e. those who receive excessively large salary & bonus packages) of major PLC’s take an interest in and be accountable for the actions of the businesses they manage, pay the penalty fines imposed by industry regulators from the bonus pot from which their remuneration package is paid and not by customers (through increased administration charges/by inflating the selling price of the product sold) or shareholders (reduced bonuses).
