Rejected petition An MP found guilty of a criminal offence is immediately dismissed by Parliament.

An MP has recently been found guilty and imprisoned for dishonesty offences. We cannot tolerate dishonest legislators representing us.

Salaries should be withdrawn from these criminals.
Police officers and employees in public office or the public sector are not usually allowed to continue with their normal occupation.
Most other employees would also lose on being imprisoned their salary and job. Members of parliament should suffer the same fate.
