Rejected petition Abolish the TV licencing fee and raise revenue for the BBC through advertising.

Funding the BBC through a licencing fee is outdated and does not serve the public appropriately when all other channels are broadcast free and raise their running costs through advertising. It is now time for the BBC to use commercial advertising to fund its broadcasting requirements.
