Personal privacy should be a right and not merely a bonus in life. The recent issues in the printed media regarding phone hacking and the exposure of personal lives highlights the potential consequences for the innocent. I respectfully request that legislation is passed to make it a criminal offence to publish photographs or any other personal information on any social networking site without prior, written permission from the subject.
