I believe that the Parliament-Government petition site is a farce and the people's voice is not listened to. Petitions unpopular with government do not get the proper attention and are hamstrung from the start.

Rejected petitions get a copy and paste response. The first chance to reject petitions is done with a copy and paste response "It is unclear what you want the Government or Parliament to do." In the unlikely event that it gets past this point, a government response is given at the first milestone and a farcical "debate" confirms the "government line." This has to change.
