Rejected petition Reconsider charging Private Hire Mini Cab Driver’s Congestion Charge

PHVs and the Congestion Charge
From 8 April 2019, private hire vehicles will no longer be exempt from paying the Congestion Charge when driving in central London

More details

The mayor of London has decided to charge minicab (private hire drivers) congestion charge from April 2019, this is absolutely absurd considering minicabs are part of London’s transport infrastructure.

It would seem there are different rules in place for black cabs (hackney carriage) drivers as they are still exempt

This is totally unfair and I would like parliament to consider the case
