Rejected petition Longer jail sentances for Child Abusers

Why do child abusers get such short jail sentences?? We need to fight against this & come together to protect the children of the past, present & future. The minimum sentence should be at least 10 years. The Justice system for this crime is so soft. Lets fight to get it changed. How would you feel if your child was the victim of a peadophile only to see them jailed for 2-3 years????
