I have heard that the Government may be considering closing or downgrading A&E at S’Port & Formby Hospital. The A&E is a vital needed service; it has saved my life more than once

Southport is a tourist area with many visitors from around the country. The floral hall also hosts many comedians and shows and this invites more than holiday makers. The nearest hospitals are 15-20miles away approximately adding at least 35 minutes to a journey. Not only is this vital minutes in an emergency, it’s also travelling times for families and friends to visit.

The information this petition is based on a flyer from my MP. We had had no notice from elsewhere.
