This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can't accept your petition because the treatment of seized dogs is the responsibility of the police and not the UK Government or Parliament.
You may be able to make a complaint about the police's treatment of Tyson to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. You can find out more about their work here:
https://www.policeconduct.gov.uk/complaints-and-appeals/make-complaint
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government or Parliament to pass a law setting the standards for the welfare of seized dogs if that is something you would like to see happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
