Rejected petition Stop the proposed huge and unfair increase in probate fees from being passed.

The proposed legislation allowing probate fees to be increased by such a huge amount is essentially a stealth tax on grieving families. Most people inherit property & do not have the means to pay such costs until, or if they sell said property. No one should be forced to take a loan to pay probate.
