In 1996 The Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act was introduced into the UK as an Act of the Parliament. The Act was created to make it a criminal offence if a dog fouls at any time on designated land and a person who is in charge of the dog at that time fails to remove the faeces from the land forthwith.
More details
This petition proposes that the Act be expanded from dogs to include all animals where a person who is in charge fails to remove the faeces from the land forthwith.
