Opening Doctors Surgeries on Saturdays would reduce waiting times through increasing operational capacity and increase the countries GDP through reduction in lost working hours (i.e. not all attending on weekdays). It’s madness in this era that we can obtain just about any service at the weekend apart from the most important being health. Doctors earn more than enough to be forced into rotational shift work.
