Petition Make it illegal to hire or to dismiss someone due to personal style

I want to make discrimination on the grounds of Personal Style (piercings, tattoos, hair colour, etc) an offence. I want employers to consider and keep employed those who choose to express themselves via an unconventional style as long as it is safe and legal.

I believe that expression via a chosen style is a right. I feel that policies which ban any sort of "alternative" style despite it being completely safe and legal suppress human creativity and lower staff morale. I believe a change in the law is necessary to allow for the differences between humans and to show that people who express themselves in such ways are capable of being productive and professional members of a school or workplace.
