Rejected petition Drop NoDeal and make NoBrexit default to GovDeal in Withdrawal Agreement
Drop NoDeal and make NoBrexit default to GovDeal in Withdrawal Agreement before March 29 to avoid risk of the EU failing to agree an extension of A50 and if Gov Deal does not get through.
More details
Why is this important?
If this is not done before March 29 if the EU do not permit an extension to A50 then NoDeal is triggered to take us out of the EU.The 2016 Referendum result was largely a protest vote giving ‘lie-aided tiny ‘win’ via Brexit lies, illegal overspend &funding that 1/3 of electorate voted Leave for. Nearly 1/3 voted to Remain, and 1/3 didn’t vote expecting Remain to win or were unconcerned. We need a people’s vote due to Parliament’s inability to achieve a vote on Brexit, and for NoDeal to be replaced by NoBrexit before 29 March to avoid crashing out if GovDeal does not go through.
This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
In particular we aren't sure how "no deal" or "no Brexit" could be included in the Withdrawal Agreement. If the Withdraw Agreement is agreed then the UK will leave the EU under its terms.
You could start a new petition calling for legislation requiring the UK Government to revoke Article 50 if the Withdrawal Agreement is rejected by Parliament if that is something you would like to see happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
