Petition To be exempt from paying council tax when you reach government retirement age.

Once you retire you are no longer bringing in a working income.
You have to live on your pension and saving's (If you have any saving's) These have to last you untill you die. Which can be many years from the government retirement age ( Hopefully).

Many elderly end in poverty and struggle to have all of there basic needs met,due to such bills and not enough money for living costs.
Many have paid towards society in all the years of there working life.
So why should they be expected to pay such a significant amount to society when they are not getting a working income.
